The
Gallery of Western Art presents an outstanding collection of masterworks of
the American West. Original paintings, sculptures and prints trace artistic interpretations
of the West from the early 19th century to today.
The reconstructed studios of Frederic
Remington and W.H.D. Koerner, as well as the original studio cabin of J.H.
Sharp, provide visitors an uncommon opportunity to see the artists' work environment
and discover their process of creation. And the Kriendler Gallery displays a stunning
collection of contemporary Western art, a testament to how the West continues
to inspire powerful creative works. |
Give them an hour and they will give you 100 years! This includes pass-around
relics and entertaining audio clips to share the story of world-famous William
F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody while they spotlight historical sites, scenic
vistas, geology, wildlife and old and new west attractions. You will ride in the
cozy oak interior of a festive red & green trolley and gain an overview of
all that Cody has to
offer. | |
