July 23, Hualapai River whitewater rafting,
Your Grand Canyon rafting adventure begins with a scenic ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
At the bottom of the Grand Canyon you’ll meet your river guide, who’ll help you into your life vests and rain gear before boarding your pontoon boat. You’ll waste no time getting wet, as you plunge into your first rapid! Mid-way through the morning, you’ll break for a simple hike, and a ladder-assisted climb, into a hidden nook of the Colorado River, where an underground spring emerges through the travertine to form a beautiful waterfall. Back on the river, it’s time for more excitement as more white water awaits you! The rapids on this trip average Class II and III, considered “moderate” on a scale of I to IV, which means that this trip can be enjoyed by children as young as 8.
After an exhilarating run through the rapids, it’s time to take a break for lunch. After lunch, the rest of your journey is all about relaxation and reflection on your eventful day. You’ll float past fluted rock formations until your arrival directly below Grand Canyon West, Home of the Skywalk. You will take a memorable helicopter ride (Weather Permitting) up 4,000 feet to the Grand Canyon West terminal and enjoy a unique view of the Grand Canyon then taking a Shuttle Bus directly to the Skywalk. Once the tour is complete the group will head back to the lodging.
You must bring: rain gear, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.), towel, change of dry clothes, waterproof camera (or a camera with a dry bag.)
Please bear in mind, the temperature in July is usually 105 degrees

Set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in the Southwest. While the West is best known for its rugged landscape and hardy adventures, staying at the Lodge is anything but primitive. Every room has a soothing view. The scenery is both spectacular and private. In addition, each room and suite is designed to capture the hardy frontier spirit of the West, with solid log furniture, knotty pine accents and muted stucco palates. But because even the most adventurous traveler craves a little civilization, every suite at the Lodge is stocked with plenty of genteel pleasures.
Dinner & Jet Boat ride: This 1.5-hour jetboat trip begins at the docks on the Colorado River. Cruise through the canyons of the Colorado River at the most magical time of day. Your guide will explain local geology and history of the Canyonlands area. Top off the evening with a delicious dutch oven dinner.

In sheer magnitude and color, Zion is very likely one of the most awe-inspiring National Parks in the world with the annual number of visitors ranging over 2.5 million.
Throughout the park iron oxide has colored the sandstone a myriad shades of red, while more natural white hues have remained in various sections and layers. Water flow from rain, and river has etched through the rock and created deep chasms of twisted and convoluted mass. Elevations in the Park range from 4,000 feet in the valley floors to nearly 9,000 feet at the highest points.
The Narrows, Angels Landing, and Emerald Pools are just a few of the 200 miles of picturesque trails in Zion National Park. Other exciting activities at Zion include climbing and horseback riding.e region.
