You
will have a scenic drive and enjoy two nights at this outstanding lodging
located just one mile from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. The
Inn offers a great place to relax after a day of exploring the park. You may want
to do additional activities including a rodeo, horseback riding, cowboy cookouts,
scenic flight tours, and much more! | Spend
two relaxing nights near Zion National Park. In sheer magnitude and color,
Zion is very likely one of the most awe-inspiring National Parks in the
world with the annual number of visitors ranging over 2.5 million. Throughout
the park iron oxide has colored the sandstone a myriad shades of red, while more
natural white hues have remained in various sections and layers. Water flow from
rain, and river has etched through the rock and created deep chasms of twisted
and convoluted mass. Elevations in the Park range from 4,000 feet in the valley
floors to nearly 9,000 feet at the highest points. | As
Guests, you will enjoy many unique features not found in common lodging properties
Conveniently located at the entrance to Zion Canyon, the Lodge offers the discriminating
traveler deluxe accommodations in a delightful, comfortable, casual setting. Unsurpassed
vistas await. | |
| | Grand
Canyon National Park. | Check
in to the Railway Hotel. It features an indoor pool and spa, workout room and
Spenser's Lounge. That evening, enjoy an expansive buffet dinner and the
fresh, mountain air because you're at 6,800 feet elevation. The next morning,
wake up and have a great breakfast. Keep your eyes open because the Cataract
Creek Gang has been known to frequent the restaurant in the morning. After breakfast,
it's time for an old-fashioned showdown between the same Cataract Creek Gang and
the Marshal. At 10:00 a.m. sharp, the train departs Williams for the Grand Canyon.
You'll travel the same 65-mile rail line that passengers first did more
than a century ago. Enjoy the scenery as the elevation changes during the 2 hour
and 15 minute trip. You'll arrive to the South Rim and board a motorcoach for
a guide-narrated tour to scenic overlooks, which includes lunch. Transferred
to your hotel room at the Maswik Lodge. You'll then have approximately 27 hours
to enjoy Grand Canyon National Park. Relax in the comfort of your train
car after experiencing the Grand Canyon. Enjoy dinner and adjourn for the
evening in the comforts of the Hotel. Wake up and have a great breakfast.
Then it's off to your next destination. |
Join
the fun and excitement at the Country Rodeo. Watch the bronco busters and cowboys
display their skills as they perform in this western competition.
| A
trailride through the beautiful red rocks in Red Canyon. Enjoy the shade of mountain
trails, and see the same country as Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch experienced
over 100 years ago and pass an old outlaw hideout. At the half-way point is the
rest area where you can stretch out and listen as wranglers tell tall stories. |
Includes
a film featuring the hidden depths, and the legends of Zion National Park and
the great southwestern Indian Lands on a six-story giant screen
- 60 feet high
and 82 feet across. | |

Visit
the Grizzly and Wolf Center and have the opportunity to learn about, view
and ultimately appreciate the grizzly bear and gray wolf. There is also
an IMAX Theater which has wonderful films on Yellowstone Park. |
| Two
nights will be spent in Yellowstone National Park so you can easily tour Old Faithful;
all of the Geysers; Yellowstone Lake; Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Upper
and Lower Falls. The Old Faithful Inn - Full of old-world charm, the Inn
is located just steps from some of the country's greatest natural wonders, Old
Faithful. | Undoubtedly
the most impressive space in the interior is the seven-story lobby that climbs
ninety-two feet from the floor. A stone fireplace, sixteen feet square at
its base, dominates the southeast corner of the lobby. The original dining
room to the south of the lobby has a roof structure of exposed log scissors trusses.
A large stone fireplace is centered on the south wall, constructed of the same
rubble masonry as the lobby fireplace.
| Throughout
the Old House are original furnishings adding to the integrity of the building
and its spaces. The dining room still has the original rustic hickory chairs from
the Old Hickory Furniture Company. Leather-topped tables with brass studs are
in the Bear Pit. Some of the bedrooms have the original iron bedsteads, dressers,
and wash stands.

|
You
will be staying at one of Wyoming's most scenic spots, the awe-inspiring Grand
Tetons. Enjoy Jackson Hole and spend some time in the unique downtown storefronts
and galleries. |
| |
The
first evening can be spent strolling through Town Square and perhaps popping
into the infamous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. |
Two
Nights - Your guest cottage is located near the lodge where
you should be able to view moose throughout the day. The upper lobby features
60 foot picture windows framing the Teton Mountain range as well as a collection
of Native American artifacts and Western art. |
Meals
are memorable in the Dining Room with its Rocky Mountain cuisine and breathtaking
panoramic Teton views. The Cocktail Lounge features live entertainment, your favorite
beverage and snack along with spectacular views. In keeping with the National
Park location, rooms do not have televisions or radios, but do have telephones,
voicemail and data ports.
| | Guest
facilities include gift and apparel shops, heated outdoor swimming
pool,
horseback riding (Addl chg),
a service station and a medical clinic. |
| |
You
can take your Float trip the next day, and enjoy an evening of entertainment
that evening at the Chuckwagon dinner and western show. |
Some
folks call it a western music show; some call it a standup comedy show with masterful
cowboy music; others call it the best musical experience in the west. Call it
what you want to -- the fact remains; The Wranglers deliver some of the purest
harmony, best musicianship and funniest ranch humor ever seen on stage. As
soon as they take to the stage, listeners leave behind their busy life and settle
into a time long ago -- a time of the singing cowboy. |
|
Delicious
food and traditional entertainment in an atmosphere of an era gone by will make
this evening a highlight of your visit to Jackson Hole. The dinner menu offers
a choice of Barbecue Beef Dinner; Chicken & Barbecue Beef Combo; Pork Rib
Dinner or Rib Eye Steak. All meals include: Foil Wrapped Potatoes, Beans,
Homemade Biscuits with Butter & Jelly, Chunky Applesauce, Old Fashioned Spice
Cake, Real Ranch Coffee or Tenderfoot Lemonade. |
